How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by sending an email to:

privacy@eatrycloud.com

Please include your registered phone number or email address so we can identify your account. We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete:

  • Your account information (name, email, phone number)
  • Staff profiles and PINs associated with your restaurant
  • WhatsApp session data and message history
  • Device registrations and sync data
  • Menu configurations and inventory records

Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained after account deletion to comply with legal and financial obligations:

  • Order and payment records: Retained for up to 6 years for financial record-keeping and tax compliance under Ghana Revenue Authority requirements
  • Platform audit logs: Retained for security and fraud prevention purposes
  • Anonymized analytics: Aggregate, non-identifiable data may be retained for service improvement

Processing Timeline

Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. During the processing period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible.

WhatsApp Data

If you have interacted with a restaurant through WhatsApp ordering, your phone number and order history are stored by the restaurant. To request deletion of this data, contact us at the email above. Note that message data processed through Meta's WhatsApp Business API is also subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
